City Coach Tour accompanied by kilted guide encompassing the New Town, George Street, St Andrews Square, Princess Street and Holyrood Palace.
The tour ends in the upper Royal Mile, outside Edinburgh Castle. The party will be escorted by Morris, our local Piper in full highland dress, to Edinburgh Castle (5min walk).
Morris is great with people; he will entertain your guests and tell them all about the different aspects of his uniform and a bit about piping while posing for some photographs with your guests.
A Guided Tour of Edinburgh Castle with breath-taking views of the city from the Argyle Battery and the opportunity to see the Crown Jewels and the Stone of Scone upon which Scottish monarchs were crowned. This can be arranged in the most suitable language for the party.
On leaving the castle, wander down the upper Royal Mile. This area has some of the oldest buildings in Scotland, houses some lovely souvenir and gift shops and has a fantastic atmosphere.
Dinner
For the evening, a walk or coach transfer to the Old Town area for some Fine Dining at the Grain Store restaurant.
After dinner, a walk to Mary King’s Close, opposite Giles Cathedral for a tour of the streets under the Royal Mile. A wonderful experience which always gets a great response, especially in the evening after wine and dinner.
Night Owls can continue to stroll and join in the life around the “Old Town”.
