 Virgin Atlantic announces the launch of direct flights between London Heathrow and Accra, the capital of Ghana, from 24 May 2010. The service will run three times per week.
The flights from London Heathrow are expected to depart on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 22:30 and arrive in Accra at 04:15.
Return flights from Accra are expected to depart on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays from Kotoka International Airport at 10:15 and will arrive at 18:00 into London Heathrow Airport the same day.
Flights will be timed to offer good connections to and from New York Newark.
