Hilton Worldwide has opened its first Doubletree by Hilton in Edinburgh city centre and fourth in Scotland.
The property, formerly The Point Hotel, has been transformed following a £4.2 million renovation.
The 138-room hotel is located in Edinburgh’s old town close to the Royal Mile and Princes Street. It has a domed roof, a brasserie-style restaurant and a top floor penthouse.
On the first Thursday of every month, the hotel will transform its penthouse venue into a Skybar, offering guests and locals panoramic views of the city.
The hotel also has a 24-hour fitness centre, free Wi-Fi, three meeting rooms and a 24-hour business centre.
Doubletree by Hilton has three further Scottish properties - in Dunblane, Aberdeen and Dundee - and 21 across the UK.
