Austrian AirlinesAustrian Airlines is adding a fourth daily service between London Heathrow and Vienna from March.

The national carrier will deploy an extra Airbus A320 on the route from 30 March.

New service OS461 will depart Vienna at 12:45 and land at Heathrow at 14:20 local time. Return flight OS462 will take-off from Heathrow at 15:20 and arrive in Vienna at 18:55.

The three other flights depart Vienna at 07:00, 17:15 and 20:05 and land at Heathrow at 08:25, 18:40 and 21:30 respectively. The return services leave Heathrow at 06:00, 09:15 and 19:30 and arrive at Vienna at 09:20, 12:35 and 22:45.

Austrian Airlines said in a statement: "The new route creates a range of additional transfer options, particularly to the Austrian provinces such as Innsbruck, Klagenfurt and Graz.

"Most importantly of all, however, it will create smoother links between London and Eastern Europe, and key centres such as Budapest, Sofia or Bucharest, than ever before."
