All Nippon Airways is to switch its Heathrow-Tokyo flights from Narita to Haneda airport next year.
The Japanese carrier will make the move from the start of its summer season on 30 March 2014. ANA also plans to start using a Dreamliner Boeing 787 on the Heathrow-Haneda route from June 2014.
The Haneda-Heathrow flight will depart London at 19:35 to arrive in Tokyo at 15:15 the following day, while the service from Haneda leaves at 11:30 to arrive at Heathrow at 16:00 the same day.
ANA said that although Heathrow-Narita was being cancelled, codeshare partner Virgin Atlantic would continue to operate on this route.
The Star Alliance member is expanding at Haneda for summer 2014 with the introduction of two new routes to Vancouver in Canada and Hanoi in Vietnam.
