The first Air France long-haul flight equipped with the new Premium Voyageur cabin is scheduled on 25 October 2009 from Paris to New York.
This new cabin, located between the Affaires and Voyageur cabins, completes the Air France range of services and meets the needs of customers who travel for business in the Voyageur cabin on long-haul flights, especially small and medium-sized businesses, and customers travelling for leisure but who are seeking additional comfort at affordable fares.
Starting on 8 September 2009, tickets in the Premium Voyageur cabin will be available to four new destinations:
- Singapore and Beirut for travel from 28 December 2009
- Hong Kong and Beijing for travel from 18 January 2010
Air France will also be offering a second daily flight equipped with the Premium Voyageur cabin to New York from 8 December 2009 and to Tokyo from 7 December 2009.
These new destinations are in addition to tickets sales for the daily flights equipped with the Premium Voyageur cabin to New York (first flight on 25 October) and Tokyo (first flight on 16 November) launched by Air France in April 2009.
By the end of 2010, the Premium Voyageur cabin will have been extended to the entire Air France international long-haul network served by Boeing 777s, Airbus A340s and A330s.
