Bmi Regional has announced three new routes from Birmingham airport to Gothenburg, Lyon and Toulouse.
The newly-independent carrier will operate six flights per week on all three routes, starting on 13 May. The new routes will go on sale on Tuesday 5 February.
There are currently no direct, non-stop flights from Birmingham to Gothenburg, Lyon or Toulouse, although Flybe has also announced it will fly between Birmingham and Lyon from 1 May. Monarch Airlines and Easyjet also both fly from Birmingham to Grenoble-Isere airport, which is located around 75 km from Lyon.
The carrier currently serves routes including Manchester to Edinburgh, Glasgow to Copenhagen, East Midlands to Brussels and Norwich to Aberdeen, and recently announced new routes from Bristol to Hamburg and Frankfurt.
