Virgin Atlantic adds a fourth daily frequency to its London Heathrow - New York JFK service from 28 October.
The service will leave daily from London Heathrow Terminal 3 at 19:00, arriving into JFK just after 22:00 local time. The return service will complement the existing overnight flights into Heathrow, leaving New York JFK Terminal 4 at 08:00 and landing into London at 20:00 local time. This Airbus service will be known as flight numbers VS025 and VS026.
Timings for the new service are designed to give seamless connections onto other routes via London such as Delhi, Dubai and African destinations.
Virgin currently flies three times-daily to New York JFK (departing at 09:30, 14:00 and 17:15), and twice-daily to Newark (departing at 16:15 and 20:25), with the return legs departing at 18:15, 19:20 and 22:20 from JFK, and 08:00 and 21:20 from Newark.
Virgin Atlantic recently opened a new Clubhouse at JFK, and has launched its new Upper Class seat on the London - New York route.
