Moscow to become BA's shortest long-haul route

British Airways logoPassengers on British Airways’ London Heathrow to Moscow service will be able to sample the airline’s award-winning services in First and Business class from 25 March 2012, when the route will change from a short haul service to a long haul operation.

First and Business Class will offer full flat beds and premium services will be offered on this route which will operate three times daily. 

The first of BA’s three daily flights, BA233, will be operated on a B747 with First, Club World, World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and World Traveller (economy) classes. It will depart Heathrow T5 at 08:25, arriving at Moscow Domodedovo at 15:25. The return flight BA232 leaves Moscow at 17:15, landing in London at 18:05.

The other two flights­ BA235 and BA237 ­will depart Heathrow at 11:05 and 21:30 respectively on three-class B767 aircraft (without First), arriving in Moscow at 18:05 and 04:30. Return flights BA234 and BA236 will leave Moscow at 19:25 and 05:50, arriving back into London at 20:30 and 06:55.
