 Vueling will add Alicante and Palma from Cardiff this summer, and launch a Southampton-Barcelona service.
It will start flights between Southampton and Barcelona from 23 June, and operate three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with an Airbus A319 aircraft.
Initially, the Barcelona service will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, but will change to Tuesday, Friday and Sunday later in the season, when the summer cruise market has begun.
The new Cardiff services, which will start operating on 22 June, follow the announcement in October that the Spanish low-cost carrier will operate a three-times-a-week Barcelona service from Cardiff on 27 March.
Passengers flying from Cardiff to other destinations in Europe and North Africa via Vueling’s Barcelona hub will be able to check in baggage at Cardiff to their final destination. |
