 Passengers on BA flights can now check-in, and view real time arrivals and departures information, using a website configured specifically for mobile phones.
The service can be accessed at ba.com/mobile, and is available in 11 languages. Customers can check-in and select seats, as well as consult the BA timetable in real time.
Theoretically there had previously been nothing preventing passengers with internet-enabled mobile phones from accessing the full version of the BA website, although BA points out that "in practice most phones were unable to use ba.com's online check-in before due to the difference in technologies supported on computers and mobile phones".
