British Airways will move its London-Porto service from Heathrow to Gatwick next year.
The route will initially operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays when it starts at LGW on 11 February 2016. Currently, the Heathrow services flies twice-weekly.
It will increase to a six-times weekly service in the summer, with additional flights on Mondays and Wednesdays, the airline said.
Flight code BA2782 covers the LGW-Porto leg and BA2783 the return. Flight times differ depending on the day of travel. BA is rostering an A319 on to the route.
