British Airways is to launch a new route from London Gatwick to Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
The airline will begin operating the service up to four times per week from 6 July 2017 – it will be BA’s fourth destination in Florida.
Currently BA already flies from Gatwick to Orlando and Tampa, as well as from Heathrow to Miami.
BA will serve the route using a Boeing 777-200 aircraft three times per week year-round with four weekly flights during the summer peak season.
The airline will fly from Gatwick to Fort Lauderdale on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays for the sumer season from 6 July to 30 October 2017, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 30 October 2017 – 5 July 2018.
