British Airways to start direct flights from London Heathrow to Pittsburgh from April 2019.
The four-times weekly service will be with a B787-8 aircraft with three classes - Economy, Premium Economy and Business.
Flights will operate on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. They will depart Heathrow at 17:00 and land in Pittsburgh at 20:15 local time, with return services leaving Pittsburgh at 21:50 and arriving at 10:25 the following day.
The new route takes the number of British Airways flights from London to US destinations to 26 and the number of daily flights offered by British Airways and American Airlines as part of their transatlantic joint business up to 67 per day.
